Main duties performed by RK&CO security guards:

Protect life and property from fire, accident, theft, damage and trespass
Carry out assigned patrol rounds according to instructions, and maintain site log book as    required
Lock down service: all doors and windows and other points of entry are locked to ensure    the effective and efficient operation of security systems
Ensure that all emergency exits are left unobstructed, in accordance with NSW fire safety    regulations
Report all possible breaches of security caused by acts of carelessness, electrical failures    and other hazardous conditions including building/equipment failures observed whilst on     patrol
Report evidence of and take prompt action against fire or similar emergency
Direct traffic in buildings and on building grounds
Carry out any additional duties that may be necessary in order to successfully complete       any given assignment
